However nice Esfahan was, I was totally stoked to be on the move again. A few hours into my day’s walk I was called over to 3 guys who were selling clothes and shoes by the side of the road. Based on appearances they were a intimidating looking lot and momentarily I cautioned myself. Totally and utterly unfounded! These guys got the tea on and gave me masses of bread and halva. They wanted me to come back to their town with them and made me promise to visit them on my return to the area. Cool guys. Looks can be deceiving. A shot of one of them below.
