I last surfed Snapper Rocks on Queensland's Gold Coast, I would guess just over a decade ago. It was crowded then (it's even more crowded now!). I was getting 13 year old girls throwing cut-backs a couple of feet from my face and giving me the evil eye. They were better than me then and 10 years on they are all probably on the pro tour. Good times...sorta.
Soundtracks can make or break Friday Stoke clips. Having a gnarly one will stand you out from the crowd. Throw in Snappers, Taj Burrow, Mick Fanning and amazing scenery and you have a winner. Enjoy.
A bit slow on the website updates this week. I sort of stress about this sometimes but then figure if I am struggling for something to write then the end result is not going to come out as well as it should. Next week I will be sure to come up with the goods.
