I am always searching for new and interesting journeys to undertake and enjoy finding ways to help others realise their dreams and goals.

Guiding and Bespoke Expeditions

I am able to conceptualise, research, plan and carry out a wide variety of expeditions, be they on water or land. You may require assistance in the early stages of an expedition which you will then go on to complete independently or are searching for a full service expedition including guiding services. I have extensive professional experience in expedition planning and logistics (this includes training, particpant organisation, flights, ground handling and risk assessment) as well as at the sharp end of guiding.

Current projects include a full-service (conception to completion) 2010 expedition on the Congo River for 3 previous clients, all of whom have successsfully summitted Kilimanjaro, trekked to Machu Picchu and Everest Base Camp. They are now looking for something a little more difficult and exciting. On the Congo River, difficulty and excitement will abound.

Writing/Articles

Article in Wild MagazineFor some reason or another, while being fairly average in most respects, I am able to put pen to paper rather successfully. I have written both online and print articles for a number of publications including Wild Magazine, Via Inmarsat, Explorers Web, Go Outside, Outdoor, as well as several newspapers. Check out the article on the right. One of my favourites.

I have appeared numerous times on national and regional television and radio. These include top rating Australian morning show, Sunrise and radio stations Triple J and ABC Radio National.
