“Your lecture was fabulous! Inspiring, funny, well-planned and very well presented, thanks!”
Clare Morley, Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School, London

The Expedition Amazonas presentation is packed full of excitement and adventure, but, most importantly, it provides an excellent learning platform for students. Whether this is partnered with the school’s curriculum or as part of a leadership and learning program is up to you. The whole spectrum of students can and will benefit from the recounting of this journey down the world’s biggest and longest river.
In the extreme arena of expeditions and exploration, believing in one’s self and possessing an inherent motivation to succeed is vital. Staring down seemingly impossible class VI rapids, surviving minus 40 degree snow storms and outlasting force 12 tropical cyclones has gone a long way to instill in me, these attributes.
Today, more than ever, young people are faced with an ever increasing pressure to succeed academically and in a broader, general sense – life. But, it is the way this “success” is defined and determined that places huge demands on children. All too often this expectation simply becomes – too much. Lacking self-belief and motivation only serves to compound the problem.
My presentation can assist students in finding out just who they are and who they want to be – discovering self-belief and motivation to ensure success in any undertaking and by any measure. I have experience and a natural ability to engage with any type of young person, unlocking the unlimited potential they possess.
